Hi!
My husband and I moved back to Vegas in 2022. Since I work from home, making new friends has been a challenge. I tried a few Meetup groups, but nothing really clicked. Just because two people like hiking, or happen to be reading the same book, doesn't mean they'll actually hit it off.
Meanwhile, local subreddits and Facebook groups are full of people looking to connect over shared interests – gamers, pickleballers, foodies – and the response is always immediate and welcoming. The community is clearly out there, but the hard part is sifting through it all to find your people.
We need a better way to find each otherand connect.
I've built apps before – most recently, Campendium, a tool for finding campgrounds while my husband and I were living on the road. It grew into a real community, and I miss that.
I'm building this because I'm looking for my people. If you are too, you're in the right place.
Leigh
